The classic, original Velo Rossa™ Spyder rear tub (aka "rear clip") incorporates the rear deck, a trunk lid [link] recess, and a fuel door recess. The spoiler is fully incorporated into the one-piece layup, as opposed to the hatch mounted spoiler center-section on the VR "coupe" tub [link]. The tub bonds onto the Datsun unibody at the door jambs and utilizes aerosol foam around the perimeter for void-fill and load distribution.
